About Us
Integrated Magaler Development Society
Integrated Magaler Development Society(IMDS) for the upliftment of villagers & development of Tamil Nadu areas is a non-profit, rural development and voluntary organization founded in the year 2009 which aims at eliminating poverty, unemployment, and agricultural issues for citizens who still live in backward areas of the Krishnagiri (D), Tamil Nadu. IMDS is well equipped with the manpower and expertise to deliver holistic solutions in the field of Agriculture, Rural Development, Women Empowerment, Education, and Health.

Support empowerment of women through dairy farming
The Dairy Development Project remains a key focus area of IMDS under its rural initiatives. It aims at extending support to agricultural laborers, rural women, and marginal farmers’ wives by providing them with a cow and holistic support in dairy management to generate a regular secondary source of income.
Dairy Development objectives:
- To provide cows to the beneficiaries to help generate an additional source of income through the sale of milk and its by-products.
- To provide animal health care assistance by training them in hygienic ways of housekeeping of cattle sheds and providing primary health treatment.
Since agriculture is mostly seasonal, the dairy project helps in generating a continuous alternative source of income of Rs. 8,000 - Rs. 12,000 per month through the sale of dairy and by-products for the beneficiaries.

Women's Day Celebration
International Women’s Day, is a day dedicated to celebrating the amazing social, cultural, economic, and political achievements of women - while also campaigning for greater progress toward gender equality. Internationally celebrated on the 8th of March in Krishnagiri District, it is a focal point in the movement for women's rights.07-Mar-2023
Genetic Diversity Fair
We organized Genetic Diversity Fair in Kaveripattinam Village, Tamil Nadu. More than 50 people participated in this event.12-Aug-2022

Training on bamboo and date palm leaf Product making
Under the bamboo and date palm leaf product-making program training has been given to 20 women of Kaveripattinam village for 15 days. This program is implemented by our NGO Trainers to teach them to make different products like sweep, Bowl, baskets, etc. after completion of the training program now all the women have started their own production and earns.
